      <description><![CDATA[<p>Parks &amp; People sparks wonder through play, education, and nature, creating a community of environmental stewards for a healthier Baltimore.&nbsp; Parks &amp; People envisions a Baltimore City where green renewal contributes to economic investment and population growth, where people enjoy green spaces that spark wonder, and where communities build the strength and leadership to steward the environment.<br><br>SuperKids Camp is a six-week academic enrichment program designed to help elementary school-aged students in Baltimore City improve or maintain their scholastic skills during the summer months.&nbsp; We focus our efforts in the following areas — reading, environmental literacy, character development, basic math skills, and fostering an appreciation of the environment through hands-on learning and field trips.<br><br>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp; This position provides day-to-day management and leadership of a program site with 60-125 students and 5-10 staff.<br><br>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;1.<span> </span>Coordinate Camp Site Activities and Logistics<br>&nbsp; Educators are part of a dynamic team that delivers interactive, nature-based activities on topics such as stream and forest habitats, park history, growing plants, and observing animals.
